Legoland FC Sack Jose Mourinho

LEGOLAND CITY-Officials at reigning SuperLeague champions Legoland FC have confirmed that Jose Mourinho has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect. Announcing the decision, Public Relations manager for the club, Daniele Massaro, said that Mourinho "has failed to live up to expectations". "Mr Mourinho is a true gentlefig and as such the LFC board of directors wish him well in his future career yet his performance as manager this term can only be described as an abject failure". Legoland FC currently lie 5th in the Serie A SuperLeague, four points adrift of leaders Ajax Skerries despite having failed to win in any of their last five league games. The axe fell on Mourinho following today's 1-1 draw with Republic came just 4 days after the Derby Cup final loss to Legoland United. Mourinho himself has refused to speak to reporters since Thursday when he explained that in his view "no one would give a damn about the Cup final result if United hadn't had won it".

Legoland United Win Derby Cup Final With Victory Over LFC

LEGOLAND CITY-Legoland United captain Leper had the last laugh this Christmas Eve as his penalty strike in the 2008 Derby Cup Final earned the Reds a 5-4 sudden-death victory over bitter rivals Legoland FC in a dramatic shoot-out. A dour 90 minutes saw the Old Rule rivals end the game tied on 0-0 and without having registered a single decent shot on target yet the game ensured it would still be remembered long into the future when in the 7th minute an entertaining off-the-field bust up between the Legoland FC and Legoland United substitutes bench errupted. Benchwarmers Davide Falconi, Jesper Blomquist, Mauricio Pochettino, Adrian Mutu and Luigi Sala were all carried off injured in the melee. With LFC manager Jose Mourinho's job on the line it was no surprise that the Blues fielded a defence orientated line-up with no fewer than five defenders starting the game, however, in hindsight the tactician's defensive style may have been the reason the Blues will end 2008 on a low. As Leper and Co. celebrated with a lap of honour Mourinho was whistled off the pitch.

LFC Manager Under Pressure To Resign After Pigs Defeat

LEGOLAND TOWN-A 1-0 defeat to Inter Police has left Jose Mourinho’s future as Legoland FC manager in severe doubt and as the final whistle blew in Legoland Town there were reports that club president Gheorghe Hagi was “furious”. LFC’s loss came thanks to the Pigs’ Pavel Neved who struck in the third minute. The result sees the reigning champions, who have failed to win since the 22nd November, fall to fourth place in the league behind BFB, Legoland United and Republic. So far little support has come in for the under pressure boss with Inter Police coach Arsène Wenger backing calls for Mourinho to be fired. “His position is untenable. If I was Hagi I would tell Mourinho to shut the door behind him”, he said. Nevertheless The Legoland Times believes that Mourinho will keep his job as long as he keeps up the winning start in the Derby Cup. A 4-2 aggregate win over Robin Ravers has set up a fixture with five time cup winners Castleland United tomorrow.

The Legoland Times Reveals Name Change And New Website

LEGOLAND CITY-The Legoland Times CEO Mr Prints has formally announced that the famous news agency will be rebranded The Minifig Times for its international and online operations. Originally launched in the late 1980s, The Legoland Times has been the Mr Prints Printers Group flagship newspaper over the last decade with sales exceeding all of its rivals including prestigious publications such as Lego News and The Castle Clan. The change will not, however, effect local editions of the paper which will still be sold in Legoland's shops under the original name Mr Prints confirmed. "The Minifig Times and www.minifigtimes.com reflects the expansion of our group into the world market and the inevitable evolution that entails" the media guru said whilst holding a glass of the finest Belville Champagne. "November the 13th and 14th 2008 will go down in Lego media history as the day the biggest news group in this land took a giant leap on the road of progress", he beamed. Meanwhile it is understood that the state has provided Mr Prints with a £15m interest free loan to foot the bill for the first year cost of "progress".

ND Land FC Sack Coach Jurgen Klinsmann

ND TOWN-Jurgen Klinsmann has been sacked as manager of ND Land FC following a poor start to the season which has seen the giants slump to a miserable 15th place. With just 2 wins from 12 games, the ND Land board have decided enough is enough and parted company with Klinsmann. However the decision has been met with vastly differing opinions from ND Land's players and fans. Roman Riquelme, who recently slammed the players for the poor performances, has once again spoken out in favour of the sacked manager. "The manager has done all he can considering some of these morons (the players) can't be bothered to show up on match days". The comment is not to be taken literally as ND Land FC haven't reported any absentees before their matches, but Riquelme clearly believes the spirit of the players is missing. READ MORE...

LFC Disparage Parma's Jon Voi In Statement To The Press

LEGOLAND CITY-Legoland FC have this morning released a statement to the press condemning Parma owner Jon Voi for comments which they believe “inextricably link their club to hooliganism”. Mr Voi’s released a statement yesterday evening condemning a video being circulated by the Partizan club’s Brix Ultras supporters. The production, entitled "How to be an LFC fan - Educational Video”, depicts violent football fans rioting and attacking members of the security forces. Having observed the video, Mr Voi issued the following statement to the media: "I would be very upset if it's confirmed that Legoland FC actually approves of this video. I understand that SuperLeague fans are passionate but there's a fine line between being passionate figs who proudly support their club and hooligans." READ MORE... | Watch Video
