The names list is incomplete but should hopefully be updated in the coming days.
The editor of The Legoland Times has been invited by LAMLradio to participate
in an interview which would be available for podcast download from the site.
The mayor of Legoland City has agreed in pricipal to "twin" the city with a LEGO town owned by Casewindu.
Mayor Fig is awaiting some further details from Casewindu before rubber-stamping the deal.
The twinning would be the first for Legoland's capital city if it goes ahead. Legoland City have also opened discussions
with Lt. Veer about the possibility of twinning with his LEGO town.
I want to change the June Motorway Bridge's name should I remove the toll on the road (and this is likely). I might just drop the word "Motorway" and call
it the June Bridge as I like to keep historical names where possible.
I am considering building a minor 4-lane motorway with toll booths at one end. Not sure where this would go - had considered Cante but its more likely to go somewhere in East Legoland City, perhaps connecting
Legoland Town. Eating up space is something I want to avoid so it would be a small motorway, probably 5/6 straight road baseplates
long with 1/2 curved baseplates. Unfortunately I don't have spare straight baseplates at this time so this little project will have to wait for a couple of months.
I have decided to knock-down the existing stadium. This is partly as I have recently bought over 700 new minifigs and the capacity of the existing stadium was not designed for such a number added to the existing population. The stadium was designed in 2006 with a population of between 600 and 700 in mind. When building it, I purposely designed it so that
it could look pretty full when populated with all my minifigs. In addition, I am not very happy with the stadium
as I was short on bricks, particularly grey bricks. It's not too bad, but not too good. I have sourced more of the grey bricks for
the redevelopment but it is expensive. I estimate it would cost between €400-€800 to redevelop and if so it is likely to be the largest project for some time.
The railway network will be undergoing a major expansion. A number of new engines and wagons have been acquired in addition to a new light-rail monorail sysetm. These are yet to be deployed.

The Blog let's you know what's going on behind the scenes - includes site news, up-coming projects, background info, ideas and stuff not covered anywhere else.
A new 'resource' is now available on the website - the original and inspiringly named
LEGO Name Generator. The generator
randomly picks common names used in Legoland to come up with a new name for your minifig. Different names are available for male and female minifigs.

Major changes to the look of Legoland are expected in the coming months.
A number of major building projects are currently underway in my head. A hydro-electric dam has been built off-line, by which I mean away from the attic.
I dropped it off last weekend but it needs to be fixed to the west (left) side of Legoland Bay. It will be fixed in between two attic beams and I will be using
alot of mountain side pieces to form a cliff front. I am still looking for some wooden boards to use as a raised landmass which the June Motorway Bridge
would connect to and which would lie behind the hydro-electric dam. Not sure what would be made on this landmass but I am playing around with having an airport, some farms, and some nature scenes.
