Fiorentina On The Radar Of Foreign Investor

View Photo Database Serie B outfit AC Fiorentina are likely to be taken over by an as yet unnamed foreign businessman, The Legoland Times can exclusively report. According to a source close to the club, contact has been made through various agents to investigate the availability of the club. It is understood that the Fiorentina board of directors would sell-out should a substantial offer, believed to be in the region of £17m, be made.

The Viola, chasing one of three promotion places in this season's Serie B, currently lie in 5th position after 36 games, just one point adrift of third placed Airport Lane. Fans of the club are believed to be excited at the news with those interviewed expressing their optimism that a new owner could change the team fortunes.

According to the Sports for Minifigs magazine, fans of Legoland's second tier clubs, or those in even lower divisions, in general welcome investment from abroad and consider it beneficial to their club, particularly in increasing the organisation's profile.

Editor of Sports for Minifigs, Mr Finalus Checkus, has termed these supporters "cold logical minifigsapiens". These, Mr Checkus argues, are very different from those fans of the nation's top teams whom he called "hot-headed" and "sometimes illogicial".

Are foreign owners good for Legoland football?
