Champions Celebs Dent Legoland FC's Title Ambitions

View Photo Database League leaders Legoland FC's title hopes were dealt a massive blow after the club went down to their second defeat in their last three league games. A goal from Celebs' Fabio Moscelli in the 15th minute was enough to give the reigning champions a 1-0 victory in Turin and revive their own chances of a second consecutive Serie A title. Indeed, the result, has allowed a whole host of challengers re-establish themselves as potential winners of Lego football's most prized competition. Ajax Skerries, Inter Police, Celebs, and most worrying for all Legoland FC fans, Legoland United, are now all in with a realistic chance of lifting the silverware next month.

LFC remain three points ahead of the chasing pack as second placed and out-of-sorts Ajax Skerries failed yet again to capitalise on LFC's recent slump by suffering a 1-0 defeat themselves. Marino's Victor Obinna, on-loan from Legoland United, did the damage in the 40th minute with his sixth goal of the campaign. Goals from Luca Toni and Zlatan Imbrahimovic saw Inter Police and Inter Milan share the spoils in Legoland Town whilst in Legoland City, Legoland United ran out 2-0 victors over Robin Rangers thanks to goals from Robert Pires and Ivan De la Pena.

At the bottom of the table, Foggia went down to their 19th defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to Parma, whilst second-last Milan also lost, the Rossoneri losing 2-1 to Lazio. Sampdoria, lying third from bottom in the last relegation place, picked up a point in a 1-1 draw with Greentown Athletic.

In Serie B, Boca Libertas moved into third place with a 1-0 win over Strand Park. The top two, Napoli and Black Fortress Barbarians both failed to win, drawing with Sea Hawks and Dublin City respectively.
